YOU'RE INVITED TO COURTNEY'S BIRTHDAY BASH! 7pm Wednesday, July 11
My good freind and most excellent CP, Courtney Milan, also known as CM, is having a birthday! Wednesday, July 11th. For those of you who will be in Dallas: Tessa Dare, Sara Lindsey, and Moi, India Carolina will host a get together for the wonderful Ms. Courtney Milan. Location: Tessa and India's room. Time: 7 pm on Wednesday. So please join us. You can just go to the hotel desk at the Hyatt and ask to call our room. We'll give you the number on the phone. Oh, be sure to use Tessa's real name for this step.
BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE! It seems Ms. Milan is a Harry Potter fan. After the get together in the room, we will head off to the Lowes Theater in City Market Place to catch the 9:45 pm showing of the new Harry Potter flick. If you'd like to join us, we recommend purchasing tickets on line, in advance since they will likely sell out early.

OMG--I am SO jealous! I'll be at the Beau Monde awards, waiting on pins and needles to hear if Pam won the R.A. in the Traditional category, but I'll be thinking of you all. We adore Harry at our house; my daughter and I even dabble in H.P. fanfic, since WE know Snape is the true hero of the story....:)

Beverly, the literacy signing is over at 7:30. However, I'm going to talk with the guest of honor. I'm hoping we can drag her back to the room by 7pm in order to let those who are going to the 8pm soiree wish her a happy birthday.

You know , I was thinking "wow, how convenient!" when I first learned that the Beau Monde conference was tacked on to Nationals, but now it's just like "too much to do, and not enough time!" Cindy, I'm so impressed with everyone who is sewing "period dress" for the Soiree; I'll be wearing basic black and eying you all with admiration.
I'll tell Pam for you. I'm so excited for her it makes me lightheaded.
Cynthia, I do hope you'll post a picture of yourself in your outfit! I've always admired people who went all out for the Beau Monde party. Too cool!

Wow, I just found your site from Alice over on Fanlit Forever. Seems I've been missing a lot of my Avon friends, and here they are on your blog! It's me Ashbongo10- I believe we hung out on the forums together a few times. I'll have to keep a check in and see how you're doing. Good to see you again! Y'all have fun @ nationals. I'll be at home in Texas for a visit then, but won't get in until Saturday, so if anyone's hanging around, would love to meet!

I'm supposed to meet up with Anastasia, Cindy, Bev, and Gladys (hope I didn't leave someone out) after the signing in the atrium for a drink before Cindy heads off to the BM soiree to cheer Pam on. We'll definitely come say hello, but my son would KILL me if I saw HP without him. :-)

Chris, I've confirmed with my cohorts that we can be back and start this shin-dig by 7pm. So hopefully we'll get to see Cindy along with the rest of you.

Oh golly, no... I don't know how to sew on a large scale. My aunt does. I was planning on having her teach me. But since I needed this gown quickly and my new 10 hr a day work schedule, it wasn't feasible. Maybe when I do the next gown. I do know how to sew little things, like pillows and such, but that's about it
Sounds like a wonderful party, India. Wish I could be there with you! I will be sitting at home in LA (Lower Alabama) anxiously awaiting a phone call from Beth and Erin. Someone toast CM for me and have a piece of cake in my name! I'll probably gain weight from that too! Safe trip, everyone
